Tsunami Warning Hawaii

Tsunami Warning Hawaii:Hawaii was placed on tsunami alert early Saturday after a giant earthquake struck Chile triggering warnings that emergency action should be taken as all its the islands could face damage.

“A tsunami has been generated that could cause damage along coastlines of all islands in the state of Hawaii,” the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said.

“Urgent action should be taken to protect lives and property,” the Hawaii-based center added.

It warned the first waves could hit at 11:19 am in Hawaii (2119 GMT), and said a tsunami consisted of a long series of ocean waves, with each wave able to last five to 15 minutes.

The center added in its statement that wave heights cannot be predicted and the first wave to hit the coastal ares might not be the highest. Such waves can cause extensive flooding to low-lying areas.

“All shores are at risk no matter which direction they face. The trough of a tsunami wave may temporarily expose the seafloor but the area will quickly flood again,” the statement said.

“Extremely strong and unusual nearshore currents can accompany a tsunami. Debris picked up and carried by a tsunami amplifies its destructive power.

“Simultaneous high tides or high surf can significantly increase the tsunami hazard.”

The 8.8 quake that struck central Chile early Saturday triggered a tsunami warning across the volatile Pacific rim of fire stretching from Japan to the Antarctic.

A sad tragedy happened on a killer whale trainer Dawn Brancheu, she played with the whale moments before she was attacked and brutally killed by her loved killer whale, named Tilikum. The attack was so sudden according the eye-witness, the 40 year old trainer was pulled into the water at The SeaWorld park

Eyewitnesses were horrified to see the whale pulling the hapless trainer in its enormous mouth.

Reports say, that Tilikum already killed three human but it’s still used to entertain the audience

Growing Pains Actor Found Dead

Growing Pains Actor Found Dead:“Growing Pains” actor Andrew Koenig went missing, his body has been found in Vancouver, CNN is reporting.

An unnamed source, who reportedly spoke to Koenig’s father, told CNN that the body found in Vancouver’s Stanley Park on Thursday (February 25) at around noon is the 41-year-old. A news conference is expected for later Thursday, and various reports are saying that his parents — including “Star Trek” icon Walter Koenig — may attend.

Fans, media and authorities alike had all come together over the last week in search of Koenig, who vanished on Valentine’s Day and then missed a flight home to Los Angeles two days later. Reports later leaked that Vancouver police classified the actor as being “despondent” upon his disappearance, that he had suffered from depression, and had mailed a letter to his father before vanishing that gave the family cause for concern. As friends and family feared the worst, his Hollywood peers, including Alyssa Milano, Kevin Smith, Alyson Hannigan and Sarah Silverman, all used Twitter to voice concern and ask for help locating the actor.

Joshua Andrew Koenig was born August 17, 1968, and worked as an actor, film director, editor and writer. He was best known for playing troublemaking teen Richard “Boner” Stabone on the ABC sitcom “Growing Pains,” starring Kirk Cameron — who sent out his own desperate plea for Koenig’s safe reappearance recently.

In the years since the hit sitcom went off the air, Koenig had a small role on “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine,” voiced the Joker in a fan film called “Batman: Dead End” and wrote and directed the 2004 short film “Woman in a Green Dress.” If the reports are true, Koenig’s last professional work is believed to be alongside “Twilight” star Jackson Rathbone in the experimental indie film “DaZe

Octomom On The View:The View welcomed Nadya Suleman this morning. Dressed in a low-cut mini-dress with go-go boots that made her look like a 1960s dancer on Shindig, Suleman talk rapidly, sometimes babblingly.

The hosts asked about her exercise regimen and showed published pictures of her in a small bathing suit. The Octomom said, “I did this for revenue. I’m very up-front about that.” But then she denied she was doing it for money, and downplayed her exercise time, saying her babies came first.

So it went: She asserted one thing and denied it the next minute. “I digress very easily,” she said by way of explaining her odd behavior. She also laughed and laughed, frequently at… nothing. It was all very unnerving. It even unnerved Joy Behar and Sherri Shepherd, who remarked on her behavior.
